Neer Dose is our family’s all time favourite. Kids absolutely love it and is a traditional dish, is a coastal delicacy.
- Dosa rice – 2 cups
- Cocunut – 5Tbsp
Wash dosa rice very well until the water runs clear. Soak rice overnight.
Next morning, grind rice, coconut and salt to a very fine batter. Add water as required. The consistency of the batter should be as a thick milkshake.
This batter doesnot require fermentation.
Heat tawa on a medium flame. This dosa shouldnot be spread like normal dosa. Since the batter is watery, it should be simply poured on the tawa till it is cooked.
Neer dosa tastes very well with coconut chutney.
