Dal Chutney

This chutney goes very well with Pundi gatti. You can also enjoy this with dosas.


  • Toor dal – 1Tsp
  • Red chilles – 4
  • Coconut – 1 cup
  • Chopped onions – 5 Tsp
  • Salt
  • Tamarind
  • Oil


Take a little oil in the tadka spoon. Once the oil is heated up, add toor dal and red chilles and fry for a bit. Take this in a mixy along with coconut, salt and tamarind and grind well.

Now take it is a bowl and add chopped onions and your chutney is ready!
